| ”An incident happened to me a few years ago that was rather amazing! I had just completed my yearly eye examination when my ophthalmologist informed me that I had macular degeneration and there was no cure for it. He further explained blindness could result from the condition. He recommended I see a specialist immediately. In fact, he thought it so urgent he made the appointment while I was still in his office. This happened on a Thursday. The earliest appointment available with the specialist was on the following Tuesday.
